So, protests in Iran haven’t really slowed down, but Iranian leaders, specifically the Ayatollah, have said that if demonstrations don’t stop soon, they’ll have to order the police and military to forcibly suppress the protests (more so than what they’ve already been doing).
Moussavi, now, is unfortunately faced with a pretty tough decision: do you keep fighting and fuel your supporters, who desire legitimate change but at the same time, risk the lives of your countrymen (knowing the incumbent Ahmadinejad would never in a million years agree to a recount)?
Or do you concede a loss in order to restore peace and prevent what will probably culminate in brutal bloodshed and utter upheaval however, simultaneously crushing the hopes of millions of Iranians who will once again find themselves facing disappointment and disillusionment?
